Ecological Garden Install Crew Member

We are horticultural professionals, learning the language of plants and the processes of soils. We are inspired by our surroundings and are interested in like-minded people joining our team!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in building beautiful gardens. This is a hands-on position for someone who is confident in operating landscape equipment, respects plants and soil, and wants to learn about ecological approaches to planting and landscape stewardship.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience using landscape equipment safely and confidently

  • Can drive with a trailer 

  • Understands that healthy plants begin with healthy soil

  • Works carefully and thoughtfully, understanding that small details make a big difference in the long-term success of a garden. 

  • Is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys working as part of a team

  • Is coachable and excited to learn new planting techniques and ecological practices

  • Respects the people, plants, tools, and properties entrusted to their care

    What You'll Do

    • Prepare planting areas and plant trees, shrubs, and perennials

    • Operate landscape equipment and hand tools safely

    • Water and care for newly installed landscapes

    • Maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment

    • Work alongside experienced crew members to create exceptional gardens

      Requirements

    • Landscape or outdoor construction experience required

    • Valid Massachusetts Driver's License

    • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work

    • Hoisting license, DOT card

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday

  • 8-hour shifts

  • Overtime as needed

This is an in-person position and is not remote.
